Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Pelvic floor physical therapy uses biofeedback and exercises to help strengthen the muscles in the lower pelvic floor. Pelvic floor PT goes way beyond Kegels and can help treat incontinence (leaking urine), pelvic pain, pain during intercourse and many other disorders of the pelvis. It is also recommended after ALL deliveries-both vaginal and cesarean. About 95% of women will see improvement or resolution of their symptoms and with continued self-directed maintenance your results may be permanent.
